Admissions at Edify World School -

The admission of students at the school is on ‘first come, first served’ basis, once all the statutory requirements are fulfilled School also supports SEN children in the mild to moderate range an makes efforts in conjunction with Tarang – school for differently abled, to mainstream such students. 

Obtain the prospectus with registration form from the admission office of Edify World School, Dehra Dun on payment of Rs 2000/- in cash or demand draft in favour of Edify School, DehraDun Submit the duly completed application form with supporting documents on or before the last date as informed to parents. Submission of completed form does not guarantee admission.

  • Six passport size photographs of the child.

  • Certified copy of School Report (Board Examination) of the previous academic year

  • Original blood group report

  • Certified copy of Caste Certificate (where applicable)

KINDLY NOTE: All the originals must be submitted for verification at the time of admission.

The original Transfer Certificate/Record Sheet should be submitted at the time of admission or latest before the commencement of the session failing which the admission will stand cancelled without an further notice.

Wherever a photocopy is submitted the original documents should be made available upon request for verification.

 All school dues must be paid at school accounts office either in Cash or crossed Chque or Demand Draft in favour of Edify World School, Dehra Dun or online as per the details shared on the UDT platform. The Chque / Demand Draft must contain student’s name, grade, section and mobile number of the payee on the reverse side. Likewise receipt of payment done online should have the necessary details for easy identification and should be submitted to accounts office for updating of student record.

Fee should be paid by the ‘Last date of payment’ as per the payment schedule. If the “Last date for payment” is a holiday, then the day before the holiday is considered to be the “Last date for payment”.

Fine for late payment of fee: If fee is not paid by the “Last date of payment” a late fee penalty is applicable of ₹.50/- per day to a maximum of ₹.500/- pm.

Issuing of fee reminders is not mandatory for the school. It is the duty of parents to deposit the fee as per the above schedule. All correspondence / queries with respect to the school dues should be taken up directly with the School Accounts Department.

Cheque returned by the bank on which it is drawn, for any reason whatsoever, shall be treated as non- payment of dues and an additional amount of ₹.500/- shall be charged towards expenses along with the late fine & additional penalty as the case may be till  the final clearance of the fee is done.

Discontinuation of bus facility is only permissible within a session if two months advance notice is given. Request for discontinuation must be submitted to the School Accounts Office two months prior to the date of discontinuation. Charges will be payable for two additional months in case of any instant discontinuation.

 All correspondence / queries related to school payments should be taken up directly with the School Accounts Office.

Fee shall be payable for the whole month if the student attends the school even for one day during a month.

Edify World School, D Dun is a full – fledged English medium co-educational day school with classes right from playgroup to grade XII, and intends to start the boarding program for students in the near future. Hence students who are enrolled at school normally leave after completing completion of their grade XII studies. However, due to relocation or transfers, parents may withdraw their child as per such needs.

Hence, parents must inform the school two months in advance of the withdrawal of their ward from school specifying the reasons for the same. If withdrawal is at the end of the academic session, written information must be submitted to school latest by January 31 so that fee applicable will be for February and March. In case of late intimation, April and even May fee would be applicable (if it falls within the two month notice period).

In case of withdrawal of a student from the school in the middle of the year (due to transfer or relocation or any other emergency), parents have to clear all school dues and the Transfer Certificate will be issued after two weeks of the completion of the formalities required for the same. Application for withdrawal must be submitted two months in advance. In all cases of withdrawal, parents have to pay minimum of two months fee from the month of submission of application.

The security amount collected is against damage to or loss of library books,

laboratory, equipment, computer items and other assets of the school. It will be

refunded without any interest, after adjustment of dues, if any, when the student leaves the school. The administrative charges of ₹.300/- for TC will be deducted from the security amount
